Lisa stepped out for the 2024 MTV VMAs as if it was her last.
The Blackpink member pulled out her most daring look yet while walking the red carpet at New York's UBS Arena on Sept. 11. (Check out all the stars who showed out for the 2024 VMAs here.)
For the awards show, Lisa rocked a Mugler nude mesh-and-satin corset top underneath a coordinating tan gown featuring gloved sleeves and a draping hood. And to top off the risqué ensemble, the 27-year-old paired her dress with chunky choker necklace and statement ring.
Of course, stunting on the red carpet isn't Lisa's only job at this year's VMAs, which are hosted by Megan Thee Stallion. The "New Woman" singer is also on the lineup to perform at music event alongside acts including Sabrina Carpenter, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello and Chappell Roan.
And that's not the only time Lisa could take the stage. The K-pop star is up for four awards at the ceremony. For one, she'll face off against Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and Charli XCX, among others, in the Best Art Direction category. Plus, her song "Rockstar" earned a nod for Best K-Pop Song.
And while she's certainly achieved a lot as a member of Blackpink and in her solo career, Lisa still has tons of other interests she hopes to explore in the future as well.
"I want to keep doing what I do within Blackpink," Lisa told Rolling Stone in an interview published in May 2022. "But personally, I have so many things I want to try. I love photography, I want to try acting, and more."
And that desire for charting new territories extends to her music. As she explained, "What if it turns out I’m also good at traditional Thai music? I’m curious to know how much I can expand what I do."
Lisa added, "Even within dance, there are so many genres I haven’t tried, like contemporary dance! Music-wise, dance-wise, I feel like I still have to learn more."
